President
Peter Valente grew up in the Real Estate and Construction industry. While still young in age, his career began at 18 and now enjoys the wisdom of over 28 years of business experience. He is a multi-disciplined builder and developer. He is well experienced in stewarding the development of raw land through government approvals, servicing and construction ultimately becoming a beautiful custom home for happy homeowners. His leadership is focused on complete customer satisfaction.

Craig Kucharski
Site Supervisor
Craig is a site supervisor at Valente Home Development and manages various projects. He has over 20 years of construction experience. He has worked on numerous projects in both commercial and residential construction. He is certified in Supervisor health and safety through the ministry of labour. He takes pride in his work and the satisfaction of Valente’s customers.

Matt Brosnan
Site Supervisor
Matt started with Valente Development as our first onsite employee! His early role began with running machinery and heavy equipment preparing land for building. He has moved up the ladder quickly, now promoted to Site Supervisor where Matt supervises construction from start to finish. He takes pride in his work and enjoys helping our customers realize their dreams of home ownership.. Matt is a dedicated and knowledgeable employee always willing to help out.

Darcie Valente
Sales Representative
Darcie Valente plays a vital role in the success of Valente Development Corporation, working alongside her husband, President Pietro Valente, and their two children, Gianni and Alessandra, who share a passion for the family business. Together, the Valente family is deeply committed to both building communities and giving back to them.
Darcie earned her Bachelor of Arts and graduated from the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor. After the arrival of her two children, she transitioned from her teaching career to join her husband in the family business. As a Realtor® licensed by RECO and Sales Representative at Remo Valente Real Estate, Darcie exclusively represents Valente Development Corporation, leading the Sales and Leasing divisions and serving as Director of the Service Team.
Beyond her professional contributions, Darcie spearheads all of VDC’s charitable initiatives. She is the driving force behind the company’s annual “Valente Christmas Mission” Food & Toy Drive, which benefits food banks and families across Essex County. Each year, this initiative raises between $20,000–$30,000, with VDC matching community and trade partner donations up to $20,000. Funds are used to purchase toys, food, and gift cards for families in need during the holiday season.
In addition, VDC is a proud supporter of numerous local causes, including W.E. Care for Kids, Transition to Betterness, the LaSalle Strawberry Festival Fireworks Display, and Truck-or-Treat.
With her dedication to excellence in real estate, commitment to her community, and passion for giving back, Darcie continues to make a lasting impact both within Valente Development Corporation and throughout Windsor-Essex County.

Brenda Hawtin
Sales Representative
After ten years as a teacher in England, Brenda entered Real Estate almost 30 years ago with an honest and caring approach to Real Estate. For the last ten years, Brenda has been involved in the marketing and sale of many new homes (including townhomes and condos), and enjoys being able to guide Buyers through the new home buying process. Brenda has sat on many committees concerning the Real Estate Industry, and attends many seminars related to such. She also helps and support many charities – the main one being WE Care For Kids, which is a locally organized and run charity where all the monies raised stay in the community.

Corey St. Onge
Project Manager
Corey has been with the Valente Team for over the past 4 years. Successfully graduated from the program of Architectural Technology from St. Clair – BCIN Designer, Corey has designed hundred of homes since 2009. As Project Manager, he is responsible for planning and overseeing projects within the organization to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Corey’s passion for design and attention to detail reflects in every project that he is assigned which makes him such a valuable member of our team.

Steve Bryant
Service Manager/Site Supervisor
Steve joined the team 3 years ago, transitioning from self-employed to a dedicated employee of Valente Development. He brings versatility of experience to the team with over 44 years of experience in construction. Problem solving and investigation of innovations in construction are his passion with customer satisfaction being the focus of his attention to detail. He values collaboration and teamwork to provide the best product possible for all of Valente Developments customers.

Katie Scoggins
Office Manager
Katie has been part of Valente Development for just over a year now. After dedicating the past 14 years to raising her three wonderful children, Katie is excited to step back into the workforce and bring her passion for customer service to the Valente team. With previous experience in customer service, she understands the importance of creating positive interactions and ensuring clients feel valued. Her time as a stay-at-home mother has strengthened her ability to multitask, problem-solve, and communicate effectively—skills that translate seamlessly into her new role. She is eager to contribute, grow, and be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence.
